Affiliated with Barkatullah University, Bhopal, and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, the institute operates as a self-financed institution governed by an experienced Board of Trustees comprising senior administrators, industry leaders, and professionals from diverse sectors.
Over nearly three decades, VIM has developed into a recognized center for management education in Central India, with a strong emphasis on developing industry-ready professionals equipped with analytical capability, ethical grounding, and leadership competence.
The academic framework integrates classroom learning with experiential and application-based pedagogy, including case-based discussions, live projects, industry interactions, seminars, workshops, and structured presentation forums. This blended approach strengthens conceptual clarity while fostering communication skills, problem-solving ability, and professional confidence.

Vidyasagar Institute of Management operates from over 19 acre campus designed to provide an academic environment that supports focused learning and institutional activities. The academic block is housed in a purpose-built double-storey building planned to accommodate classrooms, laboratories, faculty areas, and seminar spaces in a structured and accessible layout.
The campus infrastructure integrates environmentally responsible features such as solar energy utilization, rainwater harvesting, and planned green landscaping. Academic facilities include Wi-Fi-enabled classrooms, computer laboratories with high-speed internet connectivity, and seminar halls equipped with digital presentation systems to facilitate interactive and technology-supported teaching.
In addition to academic delivery, the institute undertakes executive development programmes, industry consultancy assignments, market research studies, and project-based engagements. It also organizes workshops and seminars on contemporary management themes, strengthening its interface with industry and professional bodies.
The institute library serves as a central academic resource, supporting coursework, research activities, and independent learning. The collection includes over 12,000 volumes covering management, allied disciplines, and emerging business domains.
To supplement print resources, the library provides access to national and international journals, periodicals, and digital research databases such as EBSCO and JSTOR. These resources enable students and faculty to engage with peer-reviewed literature, industry analyses, and current developments in management thought.
The library remains accessible beyond regular class hours and includes designated reading areas and discussion spaces. Digital access to catalogues and e-resources is available through the institutional portal, supporting off-campus research and reference needs.
The Institute boasts a fully furnished lecture hall complex designed to facilitate interactive and technology-supported teaching for all our management students.

Taking education beyond the classroom and into the actualities of business. Business simulation games pose real-life complexities, challenging students to find solutions, not just answers. This is supported by regular weekend seminars and discussions with guest faculties.
Providing the right environment for holistic personality development. The student club regularly organizes industrial tours, National Festivals, Cultural programs, Picnics, Fresher's Day, Teacher's Day, and Farewell programs.
Driven by social responsibility, faculty members guide a free Computer Application Training program every summer (May to June). Open to every age group, the main objective is to spread vital IT awareness throughout the community.

Mr. Rajneesh Jain brings over two decades of academic and professional expertise in psychology, guidance, and student assessment. A retired Head of Postgraduate Studies from the Government College of Psychology and Guidance, Jabalpur, he has also served as Chairman of the Board of Studies at Rani Durgavati Vishwavidyalaya. His long-standing academic association reflects a deep understanding of student behaviour, aptitude evaluation, and structured career guidance.
Beyond academia, Mr. Jain has contributed extensively as a psychologist on interview boards across reputed institutions, including Defence Research and Development Organisation (Delhi), various PSC, Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, and medical colleges. He has also worked as a Chief Technical Advisor (CTA) with national-level banking selection bodies such as Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) and BSRB, gaining significant exposure to recruitment standards and candidate evaluation processes.
At VIM, he leverages this diverse experience to provide structured, realistic, and career-oriented counselling. His guidance helps students align their academic choices with industry expectations, ensuring clarity, confidence, and informed decision-making throughout their educational journey.
