Dr. Vijay Kumar Jain serves as the Director of Vidyasagar Institute of Management (VIM), Bhopal, bringing over three decades of combined experience in higher education, academic administration, research, and industry engagement.

Dr. Vijay Kumar Jain has held senior academic leadership positions across reputed management institutions. Prior to his current role, he served as Professor and Director at Anand Institute of Management (February 2018-December 2025) and as Director at Maharana Pratap College of Management (2014-2018).
Earlier in his career, he held the position of Professor and Director-in-Charge at Vidyasagar Institute of Management (2009-2010) and contributed to academic development at Technocrats Institute of Technology and Unique College in various teaching and administrative capacities.
Dr. Vijay Kumar Jain holds a Ph.D. in Finance from Barkatullah University, Bhopal (2008). He also earned an MBA in Finance (2013–2015), in addition to a Master of Commerce in Accounts and Taxation and a Bachelor of Commerce from Rani Durgavati University.
He is a recognized Ph.D. supervisor at Barkatullah University and has served as an examiner, evaluator, and academic expert for universities including Jiwaji University, Vikram University, RD University, and AISECT University.
Dr. Jain has contributed to management education through academic publications, conference presentations, and authorship of textbooks in the areas of Managerial Economics, Financial Management, and Materials Management.
His research engagements have addressed themes such as management education, quality enhancement in higher education, green marketing, and knowledge management.
